Yes, I got a label applicator — the hand-crank kind.
Why Bother?
Honestly? Because I wanted my vials to look good. I was tired of crooked labels and smudged ink. If these things are going to show up in the lab photos — or even just in the fridge — they might as well look halfway professional.
Sure, I could’ve kept handwriting them, but the margin for error was… let’s say, generous. I figured a manual label applicator would add a little precision (and make me feel like a real operation, not just a dude with a Sharpie).
Did I go overboard? Maybe. But hey, it cranks out clean, centered, logo-stamped vials, and that’s worth it to me.
I admit, those are not my hands 🤷♂️
